Effective date: 14 October 2026 · Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. Who we are
This website, dmstudioindia.com, is operated by DM Studio India, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“DM Studio India”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data when you visit our website or contact us.
We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our website:
- Information you give us: your name, company, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the service you are interested in and anything you write in your message, when you fill in our enquiry form, call, WhatsApp or email us.
- Technical information: when you visit, your browser and our hosting provider may record standard information such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit.
- Analytics information: if we use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), they collect information about how visitors use the site in aggregated form.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as financial account details, passwords or health information through this website.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements.
- To prepare proposals, quotations and agreements you ask for.
- To deliver and support services you have engaged us for.
- To send you information you have asked for, or occasional updates about our services. You can opt out at any time.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you contact us or submit an enquiry, and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as responding to a request you have made or complying with law.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and we may not be able to continue providing some services without the data.
5. How our enquiry form works
Our enquiry form does not store your details on our website. When you press Continue, your browser prepares a message that you then send yourself through WhatsApp or your email app. Once sent, your message is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider under their own privacy policies, and reaches us through those services.
6. Cookies and third-party services
Our website uses a small number of third-party services:
- Google Fonts to display our typefaces, which may receive your IP address when fonts load.
- WhatsApp links, which open WhatsApp (operated by Meta) when you choose to message us.
- Analytics tools, if enabled, which may set cookies to measure visits.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work without them.
7. Sharing your information
We share personal data only when needed:
- With trusted service providers who help us operate (for example hosting, email and communication tools), under confidentiality obligations.
- With team members or subcontractors working on your project, only to the extent needed.
- When required by law, court order or a government authority.
8. Data retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up, and client project information for as long as needed to deliver services and meet legal and accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
9. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update your data.
- Ask us to erase your data when it is no longer needed.
- Withdraw your consent.
